What are your fees?

What does a full marriage ceremony include?

  • Preparation and lodgement of all legal documentation
  • Face to face planning sessions as required
  • Unlimited email and telephone communication
  • Ceremony rehearsal if requested
  • Use of my portable PA sound system for mic and music of your choice (weather permitting)
  • Professional management of your ceremony

What areas do you service??

I reside in the lovely city of Sydney and spend weekends in Berry. Most of my Weddings are in the South Coast area, however I’m happy to travel far and wide!

I am registered to solemnise marriages in any state or territory in Australia.

*Please note that Interstate travel may incur an additional fee.

How far in advance do we have to book?

It is a requirement of the Marriage Act that there be a minimum of at least one calendar month’s notice given, generally this would be the signing of the Notice of Intended Marriage form for a Civil Marriage Ceremony. This notice is valid for use for up to 18 months from the date given.

My advice is to book your celebrant as early as possible, usually, good celebrants book out early.

What's the first step?

FIRST STEP

We organise an initial meeting free of charge, this could be over a coffee at a cafe or at my residence. This is to determine whether you think I’ll be suitable for your ceremony. Everyone has their own personality and way of doing things, and it is important that you feel comfortable with me before we proceed. If you decide to go ahead, we’ll then make another date to handle the legalities, logistics and ceremony content.

ON THE BIG DAY

I will ensure that your wedding ceremony meets all your expectations. You can be confident that your ceremony will be just as you planned, so you will be able to relax and enjoy the excitement of your very special day.

I will arrive at least 45 minutes before the ceremony and liaise with everyone involved (eg: your photographer, musicians, venue organizers etc). I will also welcome all of your guests and do my utmost to create a calm and exciting atmosphere.

AFTER THE CEREMONY

I will leave you with a ceremonial Certificate of Marriage. Then it’s party time! The next day I will lodge all the necessary legal documents with Births, Deaths and Marriages to finalise the legal process. I am registered with LifeLink, which means documents are initially lodged electronically, and if you wish I can organise the official marriage certificate for you, this will be required for changing of your name at motor registries and passport offices.
